This factory-fresh Revel from Triangle RV includes the following enhancements for the new model year.
Coach enhancements
- Xantrex Lithionics 125AH dual lithium-ion batteries, providing 1,600 watt hours of energy per battery — 3,200 watt hours total — housed inside the van, driver-side wheel well, with easy access. These provide 25 percent more capacity than competing 100AH batteries, are fully usable up to a 10 percent reserve capacity, include high and low temperature control with a smart battery management system, state-of-charge management via Bluetooth, heat pad wraps with intelligent thermostatic controls, and a second under-hood alternator to fully recharge in less than two hours of travel time.
- Xantrex 2,000 watt inverter to provide whole-coach electrical service, including the Coleman Mach 10 NDQ air conditioner and the induction cooktop.
- A larger compressor-driven refrigerator, turned forward-facing towards the cargo door area for convenient access inside or outside the van.
- Industrial-style non-slip flooring over insulated vapour barrier plasticore flooring.
- New cabinetry design with one-piece welded cabinets, lighter and stronger, including slam-latch positive locks.
- A large countertop extension that conveniently stores out of the way.
- A portable induction cooktop, to be used outside the van, freeing up even more countertop space.
- New front bench seating with dual safety belts and a three-point driver-side safety belt, with additional storage under and behind.
- Freshwater tank moved inside the van on the passenger-side wheel well area for better four-season use.
- Nautilus freshwater manifold system for easy colour-coded management of your freshwater system.
- Exterior flip-down table changed to a cable-driven system for better use in non-level environments.
- Gear Garage maintains the powered drop-down bed, and now includes LED lighting under the bed when stored, along with additional recessed storage bags.
- Mercedes-Benz spare tire returns as standard equipment, recessed under the van.
The chassis
Taking full advantage of the proven 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Revel’s 3.0-litre turbo diesel puts 325 lb-ft of torque through an on-demand 4WD system, complete with high and low range and hill descent mode for added off-road capability. The seven-speed 7G-Tronic Plus automatic includes grade braking.
The VS30 Sprinter brings MBUX infotainment with a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; “Hey Mercedes” voice guidance; true automatic climate control; Active Brake Assist; Active Distance Assist Distronic; Active Lane Keep Assist; traffic sign assist; Blind Spot Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert; a rearview camera with rear ultrasonic park assist; a wet wiper system with rain sensor; LED High Performance headlights; three sets of safety airbags; and a factory-installed 5,000 lb tow package.
Inside
The Revel’s unique features start with a floorplan designed around a Power Lift Bed with a gear garage below, allowing for a 49 × 79 inch cross-coach sleeping area. A full galley, including a larger refrigerator, makes meal prep a breeze, while the all-in-one bath and gear closet boasts a cassette-style toilet that eliminates the need for a separate black water holding tank.
Storage and living space are maximized by the flared body. Welded aluminum cabinet face frames, dual-pane windows with insulated shades, snap-in screens for fresh air circulation, and an available quieter Mach 10 NDQ air conditioning system all contribute to the Revel’s off-the-grid livability.
